Our security standards and accreditations
Action Counters Terrorism
Metroguard is a proactive supporter of ACT Awareness e-learning, collaborating closely with the Metropolitan Police to stay current on the latest legislation. Simultaneously, we deliver training to our guards through our training provider.
The primary objectives of the ACT program are as follows:
- Enhance awareness of the terrorism threat to the UK.
- Provide guidance to individuals in the event they become involved in a terrorist incident or situations leading up to a planned attack.
- Empower individuals to identify and report suspicious activities.
NASDU – National Association of Security Dog Users
Metroguard Oxford Ltd, provides certified NASDU dog handlers. The NASDU certification encompasses the expertise and competencies essential for functioning as a professional Security Dog Handler in various professional settings.
Information Commissioner’s Office
Metroguard adheres to the regulatory body established in the United Kingdom to safeguard information rights in the public’s best interest. This organization fosters transparency among public entities and safeguards individuals’ data privacy.
